Tulane Basketball Brightens Day of 7-Year-Old Kidney Transplant Survivor

On Dec. 23, 2008, Celeste and Billy Goodwin saw their oldest son go into an operating room at Children’s Hospital for a kidney transplant, one of the scariest and worst days of their lives. Seven days later a recovering Matthew Goodwin, then six-years-old, got the thrill of his life.

Brown Ties Career High In 81-45 Win Over Southeastern Louisiana

Senior guard Chassity Brown tied a career high with 23 points and junior guard Roshaunda Barnes handed out a career-best eight assists as the Tulane University women’s basketball team defeated Southeastern Louisiana, 81-45, Monday evening at the University Center.

Three Tulane Football Players Receive All-Louisiana Second Team Honors

Tulane’s senior trio of Andre Anderson, Adam Kwentua and Jeremy Williams has each been named to the 2009 All-Louisiana Sports Writers Football Second Team following a vote from a panel of LSWA members. All three players are first time recipients of All-Louisiana honors.
