Men’s Tennis Poised to Host ITA Regionals

Men’s tennis returns to Tulane’s Goldring Tennis Complex as the Green Wave host the Wilson/ITA South Regional Championship Thursday through Sunday. Participants from 14 schools will take part in the 80-player tournament.

Tulane Golfers Finish 13th at Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championships

The 20th-ranked Tulane women’s golf team saved its best effort for the final round of the 2009 Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championships as the team combined for a 14-over par 302 total on Sunday to post a 13th place finish at the Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.

Tulane Golfers Drop to 13th Following Second Round at Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Classic

Tulane junior Janine Fellows fired a 2-over par 74, but the Green Wave fell six sports from seventh to 13th place after combining for a 19-over par 307 total during the second round of the 2009 Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championships at the Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.

Women’s Cross Country Returns To Form at Chile Pepper

Sparked by the return of a trio of runners, the Tulane women’s cross country team placed 20th at the Chile Pepper Invitational Saturday. Julia Whitrock, Annette Glaz and Rebecca Coady each returned from injuries to be the first three Green Wave runners across the line.

Tulane Golf Closes Out Fall Season this Weekend at the Mercedes-Benz Women’s Collegiate Championships

Tulane’s 20th-ranked women’s golf team will play in its final event of the fall season this weekend at the 13th annual Mercedes-Benz Women’s Collegiate Championships at the par-72, 7,100- yard Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn. The opening round will tee off this Friday at 9 a.m.

Tulane Baseball Hosts St. Michael’s Special School this Saturday

The Tulane baseball team will host the annual St. Michael’s Special School softball game at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium this Saturday, October 17, beginning at 9:30 a.m., and will follow the event with an intra squad scrimmage, which is open to the public.

Men’s Cross Country Places Sixth Among D-I Teams at Miss. College

The Tulane men’s cross country team turned in a sixth place finish Saturday at the the Mississippi College Watson Ford Invitational as sophomore Brian Lozes paced the Green Wave for the fifth-straight meet, finishing 12th among Division I runners.
