Tulane Golfers Tied for Seventh Place Following Opening Round of Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championships

The 20th-ranked Tulane women’s golf team combined for a 16-over par 304 total during first round action at the 2009 Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Golf Championships and sits in a three-way tie for seventh place heading into Saturday’s second round at the Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.
