Tulane juniors Linn Gustafson (-2) and Janine Fellows (-1) combined for a 3-under par effort and helped the 31st-ranked Green Wave to a 1-over par 289 total and a 16th place finish during the final round of the Mason Rudolph Championships at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn.

Sophomores Mariam Kurdadze and Jessica Lange advanced to the championship round in singles action and the tandem of Caroline Gerber and Marcela Fonseca won the Flight 4 Doubles Draw as the Tulane University women’s tennis team enjoyed another solid performance in day two of the Rice Classic Saturday at the Jake Hess Tennis Stadium.

The Green Wave men’s and women’s cross country team each posted finishes in the top six of the LSU Invitational Saturday morning in Baton Rouge. Freshman Katherine Crabtree paced the women’s squad while Brian Lozes was the top Tulane men’s runner for the third straight event.

Freshmen Rod Rappaccioli and Adam Bernstein each won both their matches Friday as the Tulane men’s tennis battled Southern Miss, Nicholls State and UAB at the Southern Miss Invitational in Hattiesburg. Shaye Wali also picked up a win for the Green Wave.
