edshirt freshman defensive back Dominique Dade has been declared academically ineligible. and is no longer in school. However, Tulane did receive good news Wednesday in that freshman defensive lineman Kadeem Taylor has been approved by the NCAA Clearinghouse.

Dade, who had been praciting with the team, was listed a backup at both cornerback and free safety.

Taylor (6-foot-4, 235) was a two-time All-District lineman at Monroe Carroll, recording seven sacks as a senior. He chose Tulane over Louisiana Tech and Southern Miss.

Taylor is expected to arrive on campus by 6 p.m. today and after undergoing a physical and other compliance procedures will be available for practice on Thursday.
