Categories: BaseballTALLAHASSEE, FLA. - Tulane has gotten three solid innings of work from started Shooter Hunt, but the Green Wave continues to wait for some production from its offense.
Through the first three innings of its first-round game against second-seeded Florida in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional, third-seeded Tulane has gotten three hits off Florida starter Stephen Locke. The game remains scoreless, however, because Tulane has failed to advance the three base runners it’s had as a result of three hits.
Meanwhile, Hunt has looked good, pitching three innings of one-hit ball. He has struck out two.
Tulane’s best chance of scoring came in the first inning when Seth Henry doubled to right field with two outs. The inning ended one batter later when Rob Segedin struck out swinging.
